Q. Is your child care centre a non profit centre?
A. Yes, We are a non profit integrated child care centre that has been in operation since 1989.
Q. Is your child care centre a nut free environment?
A. Yes, we are a nut free environment.
Q. My child is a fussy eater, can we bring outside food?
A. No, We will make accommodations to the menu for children with allergies,
however we do not accept outside food. All food served must prepared in
a public health inspected kitchen. This policy is also in place to protect
children with allergies.
Q. Do you accept children who are not toilet trained?
A. Only in the case of a child with special needs do we accept children that
are not toilet trained.
Q. If my child goes on vacation or is sick, is there a credit for these days?
A. There is no sick time or vacation time credit of fees for families. During the summer months if you wish to withdraw your child and secure your
space for September, there is a fee that can be paid to leave the centre for
the summer months and still ensure a spot for September.
Q. What time do you close?
A. We close at 6:00pm and there is a $1.00/minute late fee after 6:00pm.
Q. Is the centre open all year round?
A. Our kindergarten program and Preschool Program are open 12 months a year.
Our Nursery School and School Age Before and After School Programs operate ten months
Our Summer Camp for school aged children operates July and August only.
Q. Is there a cook at your centre?
A. Yes, We have a full time cook and all meals are made at the centre.
Q. Do the children go outside to play everyday?
A. Yes, for 2 hours a day, if weather permits.
Q. What is our teacher/child ratio?
A. For our Preschoolers, ages 2 - 3yrs the ratio is 1:8 and Kindergartens, ages 4-5yrs
the ratio is 1:10 and for our School-age, ages 6-12yrs the ratio is 1:15.
