The Centre staff are highly qualified and experienced in providing excellent care and
education to the young children.
Each program class meets the minimum number of qualified "Early Childhood
Educators" (ECE), as outlined by the "Day Nursery's Act". Classroom assistants have numerous years of experience.
All the full time and part time staff have their "First Aid" and "Infant Child CPR" Training
certificates and are re-certified yearly.
The facility is inspected quarterly by a public health inspector and is visited by a "Program
Advisor" from the Ministry of Community and Family Services. The same inspector over sees the
renewal of our license on a yearly basis.

The children's playground is fun filled and completely fenced in. It is inspected yearly by a CSA approved playground inspector.

The child care centre utilizes a CCTV camera and intercom door entry system to allow
only parents, guardians and visitors into the Centre.

Parents are "buzzed" into the building after being identified on a security monitor and voice intercom.
The centre operates on a strict sign-in when children are dropped off and a sign-out procedure
prior to the child leaving the centre.

Our food menu follows the "Canada Food Guide", with each meal made fresh daily. We are a full
food service centre, with an on-site cook and a full kitchen facility. Our cook is
shadowed once a year by the public health inspector.

The St. Gabriel Centre's AM and PM Nursery, Preschool and AM and PM Kindergarten rooms, all utilize
computers as part of the program schedule to varying degrees.

St. Gabriel Child Care Centre is located adjacent to and interconnected with the St. Gabriel The Archangel Catholic School, where schooling starts at Junior Kindergarten up through to Grade 8.
We are located at 91 Fiori Drive.

The Great Academy Catholic School, at 140 Greenpark Boulevard.
